Race 41: Arniston Crag Horseshoe

A second visit to Arniston Crag this year and not such a happy one this time. I aggravated my ankle early on and seriously considered pulling out. My legs were still feeling Wednesday's race too so I switched into just getting round mode and ticked off another race. I'll have to come back to this one.

Race 40: Golf Ball

As a return from injury there couldn't really be a better race. A fairly straightforward route with not too much in the way of rough ground or steep descents but still a very scenic route, typical of the Lancashire Moors. I was thrashed by several Dashers, after I thought I was getting to grips with some of them, but a comfortable top half finish and no ankle twists so a good result.
